How to sign “Good night” in ASL
The BSL sign for “Good night” isn't in our dictionary yet — it will be fingerspelled in BSL mode, never replaced with this ASL sign.
Step by step
- Sign GOOD: touch your chin with flat fingertips, then bring your hand down into your other open palm.
- Sign NIGHT: rest your dominant fingertips in the crook of your other arm, then move your hand downward over the arm like the sun setting.
Practice tip
Same first sign as GOOD MORNING — only the second sign changes.
