How to sign “Good morning” in ASL
The BSL sign for “Good morning” isn't in our dictionary yet — it will be fingerspelled in BSL mode, never replaced with this ASL sign.
Step by step
- Sign GOOD: touch your chin with flat fingertips, then bring your hand down into your other open palm.
- Sign MORNING: rest your dominant fingertips in the crook of your other arm (held across your chest), then lift them upward like a sunrise.
Practice tip
Two signs in sequence: GOOD, then MORNING.
