How to sign “Angry” in BSL

Feelings & Health

BSL and ASL are different languages — this is the British sign. See the ASL sign for “Angry” instead

Step by step

  1. Curl both hands into claw shapes, fingertips bent.
  2. Place the claws on your chest.
  3. Drag both hands upward and outward, away from your body, with an angry face.

Practice tip

Keep the movement firm and decisive — a weak, slow movement reads as frustration rather than anger.
