How to sign “Sick” in BSL
BSL and ASL are different languages — this is the British sign. See the ASL sign for “Sick” instead
Step by step
- Extend the little finger of each hand, keeping the other fingers closed.
- Rest the edges of both little fingers on your chest.
- Brush both little fingers downward along your body, then repeat the movement once.
Practice tip
Think of the little fingers as sickness draining downward out of the body — that image fixes the movement in memory.
