How to sign “Night” in BSL
BSL and ASL are different languages — this is the British sign. See the ASL sign for “Night” instead
Step by step
- Hold both hands open in front of your body with palms facing inward.
- Move both hands downward together until they finish flat and horizontal.
Practice tip
The same sign also covers 'dark' — lower the hands smoothly, as if night is falling.
