How to sign “Come” in BSL

Everyday Basics

BSL and ASL are different languages — this is the British sign. See the ASL sign for “Come” instead

Step by step

  1. Bend the index finger of your dominant hand into a hook.
  2. Start with the hand in front of your body.
  3. Pull the bent finger toward yourself, like beckoning.

Practice tip

Repeat the pull for emphasis, e.g. calling someone from a distance.
